About Me

My name is Stephen Jarvis, and I am from Marysville, Washington (30 miles north of Seattle). I have a bachelor's degree in Theater Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and a Master of Fine Arts Sound Design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

I currently am located in Orem Utah and am working as a technician in the Provo City Library's production studio, as well as being part of the team behind their monthly. podcast. I also freelance as a sound designer and film editor.  I am a proud member of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA), am building my portfolio and am proficient in such software as ProTools, LogicPro, Adobe Premiere Pro, QLab, as well as having additional experience in studio recording, mixing and mastering, Voice-Over recordings and demos, location recording. and theatrical sound design.
